Frequently Asked Questions

Maranatha is a Seventh Day Baptist fellowship … and we’re all about helping people find and follow Jesus. We believe it is possible for church to be the highlight of the week for the entire family. We know this happens when we focus everything on Jesus, connect in community, and learn straight from the Bible.

Services are on Saturday mornings at 11:00am. We meet at 24281 Postal Avenue (Suites 107 and 108) in Moreno Valley. (Off Heacock near the 60 Freeway… here’s a map) The entire service lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We are a Baptist church that is a little different. Our Statement of Beliefs is orthodox and evangelical, and we hold to the same distinctives that set apart all Baptists from other denominations. But as Seventh Day Baptists, we also observe the seventh day Sabbath. (Click here for more information.)

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while — and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.

We invite you to join us each week as we worship together. Our services begin with contemporary praise and worship music. We encourage everyone to participate. Worship isn’t just a filler before the message … it’s the reason we come together! It’s a powerful and personal way to connect our hearts with God. You’ll also notice a lot of variety in how people participate in the worship time: some sit, others stand, some raise their hands. How you respond to God in worship is up to you; all we ask is that you go after God with all your heart, giving Him your very best.

You can expect to hear a compelling sermon instilled with a strong Biblical foundation and a focus on the Gospel. (You can see some of our recent sermons here.)

Nope. Maranatha is a church for everyone, and we like you just the way you are. You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our Saturday service.

Perfect. That’s why we started the church. You can explore faith at your own pace.
